Etang Rendezvous was originally dug in 1941 as a shooting venue and has become a beautiful lake surrounded by large mature trees and vegetation.
It is set in open countryside, having no immediate neighbours and there isn’t a main road to be seen or heard – a perfect location for those who like their peace and quiet.
In 2002 the lake became a fishery being stocked with carp and catfish although in recent years we have removed the catfish all but one albino which is now approaching 100lb.
The current carp stock stands at approximately 270 mature fish, with the largest capture thus far in 2025 being an 84lb common. The lake holds a further 3 known 70’s and a good head of 30s’, 40’s, 50’s and 60lb fish. The majority of the big fish are immaculate hard fighting commons.
